GYPSUM MILLS COOPERATIVE BOARD MEETING MINUTES FOR NOV. 11, 2004

  1. Jim Anthony called the meeting to order at 7:04 PM and led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Members not present: Ron Platten and Gary Bach
  2. Announcements/Recognitions:
    1. Halloween Party: Sam Condo reported that around 60 people participated and all seemed to enjoy the festivities. It was a little disappointing not to see more children there. Special Thanks to both Sam and Brian Peet for organizing the party.
    2. Jim Anthony gave the Spaghetti Dinner report for Art Caputo. Dinner was a success and made $288.24 for the general fund. Nice job Art, Thanks.
    3. The Suggestion Box was discussed. There have been no forms filled out yet with any suggestions from the residents.
  1. Minutes from the last board meeting were read by Sam Condo. Accepted as read.
  2. Treasurer Report- Eileen Ramsdell said that the balance on 11/11/04 was $2,596.32. Accepted for Audit as reported. Bank account audit has been scheduled.
  3. House Fund/Facilities Report- Linda Bartolone said that no new funds were transferred to the General Fund. The last deposit from the soda machine was $102.37.
  4. Cooperative Center Use Report- Marsha Sutton received donations of $100.00 since the last meeting. Thank you notes will be sent.
  5. Community Relations- Sam Condo said there was no new activity. Joyce and maintenance are working on getting a list of residents who still have outstanding issues to be fixed.
  6. Legislative Affairs- Brian Peet said there was no new business to report at this time. Brian recommended a Survey be developed to send out to the Residents. Brian will investigate type of questions and how to administer.
  7. Unfinished Business- The floors in the community center need to be cleaned and re-finished. There were 2 bids submitted and the board voted to accept the bid by Charles LeBrake Cleaning Service. The work will be done the weekend of 11/20/04.
  8. New Business-
    1. Christmas Decorations will be put up in the center and outside the complex on Sunday Nov 28. Volunteers are welcome to help
    2. .Marsha Sutton has been putting together a list of people interested in volunteering to help out on activities. Anyone interested should please contact Marsha at 924-0781.
    3. The Holiday Party and New Years Eve Party were discussed. Both will be fun nights. Residents are asked to bring a dish to pass.
    4. December Board Meeting will be cancelled due to the Residents meeting on December 2.
