SPECIAL BOARD MEETING MINUTES

APRIL 29, 2006

  1. A special meeting was called to order by Sam Condo at 6:30 PM to discuss the picnic. Present were Bill Hoffman, Ron Platten, Sam Condo, Eileen Ramsdell, Lou Guyette and Linda Bartolone. Absent: Jim Anthony.
  2. Various picnic alternatives were discussed. It was noted that the number of residents in the park is now greater than ever before, approaching 1,000 residents. Sam Condo moved that the 2006 Picnic be catered by Wilshire Catering and include the menu below, seconded by Linda Bartolone, passed. The plan is that the picnic would be limited to residents only, to facilitate community spirit and to allow residents to get to know each other better. Cost to residents would be approx. $5 per adult, and we would supply beverages. The food would be served outside under a food tent. Residents would eat inside in the new larger room from 2-5 PM. No additional tent or tables would be required.
  3. Music would be provided by the Greece Jazz Band and/or the Victor Chorus.
  4. The board strongly urged Ron Platten to consider chairing the picnic again this year.
  5. Adjournment: Bill Hoffman moved to adjourn at 6:50 PM, Lou Guyette seconded.

PROPOSED PICNIC MENU

Pop-open red and white hots, hamburgers, italian sausage, grilled peppers and onions.

Hard rolls and buns, also regular hot and hamburg buns. All condiments, but NO hot sauce.

A choice of four: chef salad, macaroni salad, potato salad, pasta salad, cole slaw, hot baked beans, hot whole kernel or Cajun corn. Dessert choices; brownies, cookies, or combo of both, (2 doz. extra cookies= $8 additional chg.) (30 extra brownies = $8 additional chg.) or watermelon (sliced at site) all you can eat. All plates, bowls, napkins, and silverware provided.

Cost to Coop: Adults - $8.95, Children under 12 - $6.95 plus 15% of total for wait staff fee plus 7% tax.
