1) Meeting was called to order by Jim Anthony at 7:06 pm. Absent: Bill Hoffman.
2) Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was lead by Jim Anthony.
3) Announcements/Recognitions - Thanks to Lou Guyette and his team for a successful Spring Fling.
4) Last Meeting Minutes - Sam Condo moved to accept the minutes as published on the website, seconded by Linda Bartolone. Lou said the Breakfast balance should have read $ 259.29 instead of $ 250.02. Accepted.
5) Treasurer's Report - Eileen Ramsdell said the balance on April 3, 2006 was $2993.10. After income and expenses, the balance on May 11 is $ 3879.63. Jim Anthony moved to approve the report for audit, seconded by Ron Platten.
6) House Fund/Facilities Report was read by Lou Guyette for Bill Hoffman. Balance on March 31 was $104.36. After income and expenses, the balance on April 30 is $ 121.34. Linda moved to accept the report, seconded by Lou Guyette.
7) Complex Use Report: Lou for Bill Hoffman reported that at one private party, someone brought in an alcoholic beverage contrary to their instructions and agreement. Nancy Alcorn will investigate this with Bill Hoffman.
8) Committee Reports:
- Community Relations- Sam Condo: nothing new at this time.
- Sprint Fling - Lou: Final expenses were $ 841.23, income was $ 468.00 from ticket sales and 50/50, leaving a final cost to the Co-op of $ 373.23.
- Election Candidates - Reports indicate that there are still 7 candidates for the election.
- May Breakfast Report - Lou: Starting Balance was $250.00, expenses were $216.72, and income was $189.00 plus $ 11.00 food sale, leaving a balance on April 20 of $233.28. The deficit of $ 16.72 was due to advance purchasing for next month. Total attendance was 80 including volunteers and children. Jim moved to accept the report, seconded by Lou.
- RLAC - Jim Anthony presented that there has been no activity pertaining to us at this time as reported by Jane Pierce
9) Management Representative Report - Nancy Alcorn:
- Nancy brought in the pool table pictures showing that it just needs to be re-covered.
- The Community Center renovation has begun with completion expected in about 5 weeks. The renovation should uncover the missing light switches for the front of the community center.
- The landscaper has not been back yet for the entrance, community and sales office areas. Will try to get them back before the Open House.
- The new RV storage area is nearly done but it still needs a fence. When it is completed, all RV's will need to be stored as the town does not allow RV parking on town streets.
- Nancy has no news on the sidewalk for walking around the park, or on the pond aeration.
- Nancy did get the new trash receptacles installed at the mail building.
10) Unfinished Business:
- Potential bus tours: Sam will not have further information until August.
- Wine Tour Adventure: Lou reported that there were no takers for this. The Town of Victor has a seniors group that has functions for about $ 35 per person.
- Brian Peet is working with Nozzolio's office on the proposed legislative rent bill.
- The people who got petition signatures will be asked to contact the remaining persons for their signatures.
- Open House May 20 & 21. Sam to chair the food committee. White & red hots only, Food will be 11-3:30. This will net the Coop $ 300 from Gypsum Mills Sales, LLC.
- Volunteer Recognition Party will be June 11 from 1-3:30 PM. Linda will chair and is planning cold cuts, salad, lemonade. People should RSVP by June 5.
- Victor Town Meeting will be at the Complex on May 18 at 6:30, with cookies and punch.
- Annual election & resident forum will be on June 1 at 7:30 PM, starting with punch and cookies at 7:00 PM.
- Annual Picnic will be July 15, Ron has the banner and tickets. May 22 is the deadline for the Scoop announcement. Lou is food chairperson and details are in the previous picnic board meeting.
- Sam, through his Company, will be donating some tables and bookcases for the renovated area in the Complex.
- The new phone book should be printed soon.
